No kidding. The article said the bomb squad was called in when someone found some shotgun shells at the same location. OMG! Run for your lives! Those rounds that have been sitting there not blowing up by themselves for 40 years could go off any minute! ANY MINUTE! :runaway:

The first time the LEO should have just explained how to dispose of it (eg bring it to the station, whatever) and told them it wasn't an emergency situation. Taxpayers can cover the first time. But the second call? Sorry, PD, FD, etc will send a bill. You were told not to call it in as a emergency. Grow up.

And I can imagine if LEO knocked on my door and said to evacuate.
    Me: "What's going on"
LEO: "Neighbor found some ammo in the basement."
Me: "Have a good day" [shuts door in face...]

"Kellyanne? Hey. Kellyanne! ... We're taking a picture here. ... HEY! Eh, just take the picture.

But no one is saying anything about the other gentleman not paying attention to the pictures being taken.

For one of my sixth grade class field trips, we went to the White House.
President Nixon was in and asked us to visit him in the Oval Office.
He spoke to us briefly and each one of use got to sit in his chair.
I don't recall it being a Bozo No-No and it wasn't on the evening news.

Is he sitting? Is he playing with phone? Is he a guest or an employee that should know better?

    Overreacting at school.

Gun Found in Vehicle at Castle High School - Story

Illegal and against school policy are different things. My question is why the search in the first place.

Not sure there was an overreaction. They didn't even put the school on lockdown. As far as I know it is illegal to have a firearm on school property if you are enrolled as a student. As for why the search was done in the first place is a mystery to me but if it was a parent of a kid and as long as it was out of plain sight then there was nothing illegal.

IC 35-47-9-1 (b) For purposes of subsection (a)(3) and (a)(5), a person does notinclude a person who is:(1) enrolled as a student in any high school except if the personis a high school student and is a member of a shooting sportsteamand the school's principal has approved the person keepinga firearm concealed in the person's motor vehicle on the days theperson is competing or practicing as a member of a shootingsports team; or

I don't remember, but Thomas Bailey farted, does that count?
Who really cares what she is doing, I'm sure with the hours she puts in each week, she's entitled to kick back a little and rest her dogs.
This truly is a " Real World Problem "
What's next, she left a skid mark in a White House Toilet?
