The Washington Post received the Pulitzer prize for publishing Edward Snowden's information showing how the NSA spied on the American people. Now they are calling for him to stand trial on espionage charges. In other words, they want their own source prosecuted. Aren't journalists normally known for protecting their sources??

ACLU sues Connecticut state police for conspiring fake charges against a protester | The Charlotte Observer

“Michael’s permit comes back as valid, they say ‘oh crap,’ and one of the troopers says we gotta punch a number on this guy,’ which means open an investigation in the police database. And he says ‘we really gotta cover our asses,’” said Dan Barrett, legal director for ACLU-CT. “And then they have a very long discussion about what to charge Michael with—none of which appear to have any basis in fact. This plays out over eight minutes. They talk about ‘we could do this, we could do this, we could do this.’”
The police decide to charge Picard with reckless use of a highway by a pedestrian and creating a public disturbance. One of the officers tells the others, “What we say is that multiple motorists stopped to complain about a guy waving a gun around, but none of them wanted to stop and make a statement.”

Hmmm. It's so important to vote, but only vote for THEIR candidate.
Trump is bad, cause he fires people.
Ignore Hillary when she lies, covers up, people mysteriously die, ignores secrecy laws, or records laws, etc.

    This is bizarre.
Disney pulls 'Moana' costume after racism accusations - 13 WTHR Indianapolis

Disney decides a generation ago to do kid movies about non-USian cultures to show heroes from different cultures. Generally, positive role models. Even the villains are rarely TOO bad anymore.

So they succeed. Aladdin costumes, Mulan and cross-dressing, Lion King gear, that one in New Orleans, and now a South Pacific one - Moana. So, kids want to emulate these Disney heroes. The character in this movie is Polynesian/Pacific Islander/whatever, so his skin is darker than many USian kids. But, lotsa kids like wearing costumes with fake muscles and different skin colors. You know. Like Hulk.

But now that's bad. What kind of a mixed message is this. (Not a question.) Admire the heroic qualities of this guy, but don't actually try to look like this guy.

    Just bizarre to me.

What an idgit. What's he gonna do when he confronts somebody and they tell him to pound sand? Is he going to try to citizen arrest them for a non-crime? Try and illegally detain them and shoot in "self defense" when they try to get away from him? I'd hope he just goes about his way, but he's trying to play soldier and I doubt he'll let what he sees as his chance at glory walk away from him.
