Doxing is where you "out" people online and publish their public ID and contact info so that you can encourage people to do malicious things.

An example would be a BLM person publishing the home address of the officers that shot a suspect so that anyone could go there and harass the officer's family.

Someone looks up public records of the person they're doxxing, that might be embarrassing, and then posts them on the interwebz for all to see. In fact, an INGO member and almost well known youtuber was doxxed right here on INGO a couple of years ago.

I should have taken a picture of a sign I saw at a Colorado rest stop. It said something to the effect of: No dumping water on the parking lot from any container.
