Dropping this question here, because the entire concept of Coffee DRM is a facepalm.

Do the newer Kuerig machines still have the DRM that restricts what pods you can use? Or are there better alternatives out there for pod-based coffee? I've got a great coffee machine at home that I'm happy to use on the weekends, evenings... but I'd like to look into a quicker option for mornings.

Our machine was having some issues with some pods, so I believe that model does. Don't know about new ones.

    It's defeatable, but it's a PITA.

Pods? Uncooperative? Does it call you "Dave"? You may have a larger problem than you think

In January 2018 I start to think Cowboy action Shooting is pretty neat and a good way to reinforce skills. Not sure about the dress up part, but I do have an awesome sombrero laying around that I got at the Goodwill store that has very low milage.

North Korea and South Korea have agreed to march together under a unified Korea flag at the Winter Olympics.

I think that qualifies as an "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"

    Progress in the area?

Well at least the NORK athletes will be eating good while the games are in session.

Some friends gave my wife a K2.0 for her birthday in October. Stupid thing only accepts "proper" pods. It has a carafe, but we have not found a carafe pod that works with it. Sales people in stores like Kohl's don't even understand what we're asking for. All they know is the single serve pods. Friends gave her a "universal" carafe pod that you are supposed to be able to fill with loose coffee and the box it came in said guaranteed to work with the newest keureg, but alas, since it doesn't have the special label, the keureg doesn't recognize it.:xmad:
