My grandmother passed away in a nursing facility last week. Our family had a pretty good handle on what was going on there, and she received amazing care up until her last breath.

I can not not imagine what that family must have felt as they watched their father and grandfather struggle for life as people laughed around him. How sociopathic do you have to be? That is just infuriating.

A 43-year-old man faces serious charges after he drove through an active crime scene last Sunday night. Officers gave chase and soon apprehended the man, who initially didn't cooperate and got tased. The man was currently on probation for leaving the scene of a crash and felony driving with a suspended license. This may explain why he didn't pull over. Authorities say the suspect is not linked to the investigation he interrupted and did not destroy any evidence.

If you actually believed that the earth is flat wouldn't you also believe that there is no such thing as orbiting the planet? I'm not really up on the flat earth stuff, just seems to me that launching yourself up in a rocket would put you in danger of just continuing to go on up since you couldn't go into orbit. I don't know, maybe he hasn't really thought it through to that extent?

On a side note; does his rocket remind anyone else of Evel Knievel jumping the Snake River?
