Yep..get one, then another, then another.

It really depends what you are looking for, but a Smith and Wesson M&P15 is one of the best buys right now. Great quality and brand reputation, and they are very reasonably priced.

AR's are like Adult Legos. About all you need to decide up front is what barrel you want (length, twist, profile), and if you want a fixed front and rear sight or not.

My suggestion is after you know that, go buy one, and then have fun as you start adding / swapping out parts.

The search is more than half the battle. I have taken price, quality, and visual appeal into consideration.
