OK, since I wasn't tired and haven't slept yet I decided to check out Youtube and AR15.com for instructions on how to assemble. I wasn't in a big hurry and took my time. Everything works and operates as it should.

On a side note, care to tells us what the parts ran ya? I keep hearing of falling AR prices, but haven't been hit yet. :D

    Lower-$115, lpk-$60, stock-$40

Nice build.... I was impressed with the fit and finish on my CMMG lowers also.

And prices have come down if you know where to look.... locally DS LPKs are $70 but can be had online for $55 !!!

I Thought that it was just a really, really, Short Barreled Rifle! :D
Looking like the beginning of yet another beauty there Mvician!:yesway:

    Ya, the TAX STAMP :):

Until I get that ball rolling and submitted I'm gonna watch for a 14.5 or 16" lightweight barrel to put on it.

Very nice carbine! I spy some Hornady Tap, some M855, and some M193 ready to be fed through her as well. Looking forward to a range report!

Yep! Good Eye Spy! I have another 30rnd mag with the newer, silver cased 75gr TAPs. :)

It shoots verry nicely... about 2500 193 and 1000 885 through it. No problems, but I have changed the gas rings. It WILL fire somewhere between 1 and 300 rounnds with broken rings. Now I have spares for about everything.

I don't think I like the vertical grip, but I do like the light... decisions decisions!

Is that also that special edition Magpul furniture? Can't remember the name, but a special urban grey or something?

No that is the Magpul Foliage Green.

This is the Magpul LaRue Tactical Urban Dark Earth, UDE.
It is a few shades lighter, and a bit more grey.

I see. When it was compared to the regular Dark Earth / Tan it looked like the Special edition UDE. The difference is clear when the are compared though. May have just been the lighting in the first pic.

Nothing super special, upper and lower are both Stag, the forearm is a Daniel Defense Omega rail that I just got yesterday. Right now I have ladder covers on it but I'll get something different soon.

I'll probably replace it's current pants with a Magpul CTR soon.

Lookin good! There was a WTS post by INMILine a while back selling some black Troy Battlerail covers. I bought a set and really like them.

Good price on a good rail cover IMHO.

Forgot to mention, I also put a Hogue grip on there, but I did that almost as soon as I got home with the lower last week.

Edit: I was looking at those Troys or the Magpul XTs
