    How about some plum twinks?

    My Saiga 47 on top.

    Tradertator's Arsenal 74 on bottom.

Both sporting the PK-01v red dot.

Sparc doesn't cowitness, does it? It's too bad, I really like it.

Also nice to see an RAAC Saiga for that Hoosier flair. I need to find one well done or uncoverted in 5.45.

No, it doesn't cowitness, but it's close.

I picked it up from a LGS when RAAC was still the importer; they had a new one (~$400) and a used one ($299). I grabbed the barely used since it had the dreaded extra Y. :D I don't think it had been fired!

I bet a little red mahogany stain and maybe a coat or two of Tung Oil and that wood will look great again!

I wish - believe it or not that stain on there is the darkest of dark stains... I was shooting for BLACK.

Something in the previous finish keeps anything else from penetrating that wood. I left the stain on there for ever but no matter how long I left it on there - it wouldn't get any darker....

No Freudian slip here... All you need to do is see a picture of me and Tradertator to understand.

Well shoot, if i knew it was that kind of party...

I've got a Mini draco in plum if you don't mind me working a third onto your pick nick blanket in the grassy meadow. Sure the sights are canted to the left but you won't even feel it...er...notice it.
