    ?
what prices were you expecting for Tula bakelite, in 7.62x39?:dunno:
please please excuse me if I seem like im trying to "educate"

The 5.45x39 in Tula bakelite is obviosly more abundant and cheaper perhaps 10 to 15 maybe 20$ difference than in 7.62

I got my 7.62 bakelite for 50$ shipped still in a cosmo wrap,
    picture.php

I got a friggn deal, just because I found one straight from the source.

Guys who buy these and dont flinch about paying this kind of salty money they want it for historical aesthetic or authenticity, or to simply have a bad ask mag for thier bad ask AK.
Have you seen current prices on old Russian Slabsides or the new Poly ones at that? 60+ errrrrr!

I was expecting them to be $30-$40 and I do want some for historical sake. I got the coin to spend on a couple but like I said I didn't expect them to be $50 a piece just took me by surprise is all.:):

Anybody get a newer US Palm with those two square cutouts in the bottom like indyk posted yet? One of the problems as seen to be that the endcap (floorplate) wasn't getting glued on well enough on one run of the magazines, like Magpul had that bad batch of PMag feedlips. On the newer version like the one in that photo they've added that locking clip at the bottom to backup the glue and I'm just wondering if they have hit the street.

All of mine have spent pretty much their whole life loaded expect when shooting them and they haven't popped off despite being dropped and roughly handled. But it is an interesting improvement to keep track of...

the only problem I have with US Palm mags, ok, 2 problems:

    1) If I wanted to spend $30 per mag, I want steel feed lips and reinforcment.
    2) This is the main one: If I wanted to spend $30 per mag, I would just buy new production bulgy circle 10s and be done. :)

    Agreed.

For a while, you could buy Circle 10 47 mags from K-Var that WERE Plum. They still have the 5 rounders listed as available, but I cannot locate the 30 rounders on their site anymore. They are out there though.

    Hahaha, I can believe it.

If I only had 1, I'd probably put it into safe queen status as well.
