    I'd be like me allowing one of my sons to enlist in the Navy instead of the Army.... well.. okay... that will NEVER happen.
    Hey don't go knocking the Navy! We do have that awesome military special ops group called the SEAL's. Maybe you have heard of them? I hear they are pretty good shooters!

    As an old Army guy, I tend to favor the green hats that visit for training. :patriot:

    That Shield looks like a winner. I have not had a chance to shoot one, but I handled it. It would seem to be very good for it's intended purpose. I have an M&P 9c, so the grip is thicker, but not really longer and the barrel is just a smidge longer. I prefer it because the thin grip of the Shield just seemed to get lost in my hand. I can see the Shield joining the family at some point, though. Luckily, at 6'3" and 240+#, I have the....body habitus, to conceal the 9c with ease....and possibly an 1919A2
