Tomorrow is the 8th anniversary of the terrorists attacks that happened on 9/11/2001. Please take a moment tomorrow to show your respect for the 2974 people who died as a result of those attacks.

Please keep politics, conspiracy theories and arguments out of it. They were not political figures and do not deserve their memory tarnished by your political views.

I lost several friends that worked for the NYFD. They were and always will be heroes. God Bless them all.

Please also reflect in a moment of prayer and/or respect for the men and women who continue the War on Terror...whether you agree with it or not. Again...they are soldiers, not politicians.

    Never forget...

I hate to say, "Overseas contingency operation", but your sentiment is justified and welcome.

It is a shame that not every last American will be holding a personal vigil tomorrow.

Too many think the events of 9-11-2001 did not affect them. WAY too many misguided souls in this country these days.

There is always time, place, and reason for prayer. Some days the last makes for an increase in the first two.

Tomorrow is one of those days.

Our students that run our morning announcements are showing a video and making a special announcement in memory of the victims of 9/11. The kids came up with this idea on their own.

Everyone should feel a little better about some of the young people in this country. They think with their own brains more often than we sometimes think they do.

That's good news. You must be doing something right. Keep it up.:yesway:

Tomorrow will be the day I pull out the DVD of news coverage from that day in our history. I watch it every year on the anniversary of the cowardly attacks on our civilians so that I'll never forget the loss of so many and the heroism of many more.

I remember that day vividly. Today I purchased a new flag to replace the one that I've been flying for the past year or so, and proudly hung it in front of the house in honor of that day. I've made it a point to fly the flag every day since then, and intend to continue in the future.

I will never forget and pray everyday that those who were responsible are brought to justice and pray for peace for those families that have lost a loved one due to that heinous act.
