Trump's line about jail was funny; I laughed.

It doesn't help him in the election at all though. It reinforces his dictatorial attitude. It plays to his base, which is not enough to get him elected.

This continues to be a race to the bottom. Pence might save his political career by dropping himself from the ticket.

Well Trump certainly got more laughs and reactions from the audience but he has a personality and is great with one liners compared with stiff Hillary. Supposedly the audience was to be populated with undecideds. I wonder if they were really lesser of two evils voters who have already chosen Trump but are embarrassed and won't admit it to cold calling surveyors.

I still can't believe these two are the nominees. I also did not expect Trump to do any better than he did in the last debate, but I agree that he definitely improved on this one. I still don't know if even half the stuff he said was true, or what of the things Clinton said were true. I was very worried about the final question, but Trump ended it on a good note.

I don't think either of them can fix our economic problems, but my biggest worry has been with the supreme court justices. So far that issue is still my main concern going into this election.

The morning shows are all giving it to Hillary.

The rehahahahapublican Chuck Todd says the only thing people will remember in three days is Trump messed up by bringing Bill's accusers and saying he would reopen the investigation of Hillary.

On fox broadcast did I miss Pence.

What's the over/under on when Trump says he won't participate in 3rd debate?

Tony Katz is strongly recommending Trump not participate in the last debate. Says he can not improve, only go down in status.

Personally, I am not a fan of Chris Wallace. He was a lot of the reason for discourse at the Fox Republican primary debate. The one where the potential candidates teamed up with the audience to openly complain about the "moderators".

All Clinton had was that fake smile frozen on her face as Trump was eating her alive. I thought it must be painful to force that look so long.

The real question is did Trump's performance bring back defectors.

    First, you spelled "conservatives" wrong.

Second, no. To "bring back" traditional Republicans, he needed to show - at some point - that he was not what we thought he was. Show us we were wrong about him. No, he confirmed that he is a bullying douchebag with no experience. He is that which we have always known him to be.

I regret missing the debate. I saw that Luke Cage was on netflix and had to binge 4 or 5 episodes. Sounds like the debate might have had more action.

I 'missed' it too. Was watching a show with my family, these 'debates' are not appropriate for that.

I was getting the Hi-lites in this thread. Good enough for me as I get a terrible urge to put a round through my flat screen when Hilly the beast gets a full screen head shot.

She disgusts me at a level I find most irritating.
