This thread supersedes any info found in this thread: https://www.indianagunowners.com/fo...fa_day_saturday_hardware_and_ammo_thread.html

Here is the list of available firearms to experience on NFA Day:

Applied Ballistics will be providing the following machineguns:

    Browning 1919--.308
    M16--5.56mm
    AK47--7.62x39
    UZI--9mm
    PPSH43--7.62x25mm Tokarev

[STRIKE]21st Century Firearms will be providing the following machineguns:

    AK47--7.62x39
    MP5SD--9mm
PKM--7.62x54R **this ammo will only be available from 21st. Don't bring your own**
    M16--5.56mm[/STRIKE]

SSNFA will be providing the following machineguns:

    UZI--9mm
    M16--5.56mm
    M16--9mm
    M3A1 'Grease Gun'--.45ACP
    KFO (10/22) machinegun--.22lr
    [STRIKE]Glock 18--9mm **alumni day only**[/STRIKE]
    MAC11/9--.22lr

RWilcox215 "Ralph Wilcox" will be at NFA day on Sunday only and will be providing the following guns:

Thompson Machine PX90 SMG in 5.7x28MM
    Infinite Arms M16 in 5.45x39MM
    Spikes Tactical M16 in 5.56MM
    AC556 in 5.56MM
    Lusa SMG in 9MM
    McKay Enterprises Uzi in 9MM
    Remington 870 14” SBS in 12GA
Vintage Bolt Action SBS in 20GA
Glock 17 SMG Conversion in 9MM

I am NOT going to list every suppressor that is going to be available for demo, I don't want to type that much:): Instead I am going to simply list the calibers of the suppressors available for demo. There will be several different models of each caliber listed below.

    9mmm
    .45ACP
.22lr (there will be a LOT of these)
    5.56mm
.30 caliber up to .300 Win Mag
    .357mag/.38spl/.357max
    5.7x28

    12ga AOW "shotguns"

There will be several 10" barreled shotgun type AOWs available and all will be 12ga.

Any 12ga ammo is acceptable, either 2 3/4" or 3". Bring birdshot if you just wanna give it a go and aren't interested in the full effect. Bring 3" slugs or buckshot if you want to get the full effect. If you want to participate in the annual slaughter of evil tangos, be sure to bring a couple boxes of slugs--trust me, it's worth it.

    SBRs

There will be a few short barreled rifles available. They will be either the AR or the AK. Calibers will include 5.56mm, 9mm, 5.45x39, 7.62x39

    ***** UPDATE *****

Unfortunately, due to reasons beyond anyone's control, 21st Century Firearms won't be able to make it to NFA Weekend 2011.

Because of this, we will not be able to showcase a PKM or MP5SD. Luckily we will still have other M16s, AK-47s, and 9mm subguns available from other vendors, so you will be able to utilize your purchased ammo.

We apologize for the late notice, but still believe that everyone will have a great experience! See everyone in a couple weeks! :ar15:

    Now for the ammo requirements

.22lr--SSNFA will have Gemtech subsonic .22lr ammo available for purchase the day of the shoot. If you want to bring some .22lr ammo then I highly recommend you bring some CCI subsonic for the suppressors and plain Jane bulk-packed Federal/Wincehester/Remington etc... for the machineguns.

9mm--Indiana Supply Depot will have 147gr subsonic ammo available for sale the day of the shoot for $12/50. If you want to bring your own 9mm it must be factory new ammo, no reloads. Also, don't waste your time bringing 115gr 9mm. 147gr runs better in the machineguns and sounds better in the suppressors.

.45ACP--Indiana Supply Depot will have 230gr subsonic ammo available the day of the shoot for $16/50. You may bring your own ammo but it must be factory new, no reloads.

5.56mm--Indiana Supply Depot will have 5.56mm available the day of the shoot for $15/50. You may bring your own if you wish. Steel case is OK but Wolf/Tula isn't reliable in the machineguns. Silver Bear is better and brass-cased XM193 or equivalent is best. Ammo must be factory new, no reloads.

    7.62x39--Wolf is fine.

5.45x39--Steel case Russian surplus is best

    .308--Brass cased and factory new.

7.62x25--Russian surplus is about all there is available. Find it where you can.

12ga--birdshot, buckshot, slugs-any are acceptable in either 2 3/4" or 3" magnum. No oddball rounds like bolo, flechette, dragons breath or other such nonsense.

Any recommendations for the 1919? Will there be cloth belts or links to load your own or will it be like the PKM and you will need to buy day of? I've shot a crapton of odd all belt feds but I'm looking forward to the 1919! Is it an A4 or a tripod mounted rig?

Anyone that would like ammo for NFA Day PM to pre-order ammo as I will have a limited quantity with me on NFA Day.

Please note that the prices listed above are only for those attending NFA Day.

Doug, I don't have the specifics on that just yet. I should have them in the next day or so.

    OK thanks.

You do list brass case and factory new, does that mean no Mil Surp for the 1919?

Also, is it warranted to list the toys we will be bringing with us here in case someone else wants to shoot them?

    Thanks,
    Doug K

so no 115gr 9mm crap. Can you bring 223 ammo or does it have to be 5.56? also I haven't got them yet but i order 7.62 ammo from cheaper than dirt think its yugoslavian is that okay as well. Thank you for your time

I'm sure 223 would not cycle right Thanks see you there

you might want to wait til they figure out if you can bring 308 ammo or if it will be provided

is there any grain restriction on the 5.56 both 55gr and 62gr fine? Thanks

I asked it in another thread, but since this is the newest one I figure I'll ask here. What about USAammo? I know they have some reloads but they also list some of their ammo as new. I'm guessing they manufacture their own ammo too? Never bought from them but their prices are pretty good on 9mm so was wondering if these would be acceptable. Thanks.
