I searched and didn't see a post about this....

Two bystanders struck by NYPD cops opening fire on suspect near Times Square

The 35-year-old man police were aiming for had 'simulated' a gun with his hands, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said. Two women, ages 54 and 35, were struck by bullets, while the suspect was unarmed when he was taken into custody.

Maybe Bloomberg should stop spending him millions on taking away guns from law abiding citizens and start training the NYPD on how to properly shoot and learn when NOT to open fire

They aren't just watching, they are filming to get hits on their youtube account!

Looks like a big fellah with plenty of crazy in him from the pictures.

In a city setting like NYC, how can you ever feel confident of taking a shot knowing that if you miss, the odds of you hitting a bystander or somebody's property is so great?

NYPD needs re-training for sure! If a perp fired into a crowd of people, they would hang him in the courts. What about these idiot cops????

Don't be fooled! This is EXACTLY the future that progressive "elitists" such as Bloomberg, Obama, Feinstein, and others envision. Combine a disarmed public (as in NYC) and an INTENTIONALLY over-zealous police force and you have the "totalitarian" state. Government is totally in control and any dissent is harshly dealt with.

One of them was a 54 year old lady, using a 4 wheeled walker, who was across the terminal. She wasnt standing around filming. The bullet broke two bones in her calf. The second woman was grazed in her buttocks.
NYPD fired three shots, hit two people and missed the intended target who was unarmed. He did take his hand out of his pocket and simulate firing at officers. Not sure if he actually said, "Pew, pew, pew" or not.
Definitely not NYPDs finest. Lucky they didnt kill a bunch of innocent people who werent doing anything wrong.
And really, even if they were snapping pics on their phone, that wouldnt make it ok for LEO to be firing shots into the crowd. This isnt the first time this has happened in NY either. Ray Kellys crew can be more dangerous than a 40 oz big gulp
