Have you fired this suppressed. I am told that a 1911 does not like to be ran suppressed. Just curious. Nice piece by the way...

Check out silencerco's website. They have video of their ossprey silencer being fired on several 45 platforms. Actually had the best results on the 1911. I've got the same sig and am saving up for the ossprey!

I picked up a long awaited TRP operator with full rail yesterday. I have been looking for one for a while.

It is the sweetest shooter I have ever shot.

    ATI 4.25

Here's a couple shots of my 4.25" ATI. I decided to try doing a bobtail using an Ed Brown MSH. I had to refinished the receiver after. I used Wheeler Ceramic-coat. The slide and other parts were still in the original parkerized at this time.

Later I decided to lower the ejection port. Since I needed to refinish the slide after that work I thought I would try a using a different finish. So sandblasted the whole thing and used Cerakote. Colors are sniper grey and graphite black.

    Remington R1s 1911 (Stainless!!)

Picked this up yesterday at Plainfield Shooting Supply. I'm dying to shoot it!

Here it is beside the Ruger SR1911. I can't really say I have a preference at this point. I like certain things about each one. We'll see if it shoots as well as the Ruger. My bet is that it does.

Very nice! Those are both quality guns and I dig em. I have a stainless Springfield and it would right in there. Congrats :yesway:
