    Just put a set of Ergo grips on my Kimber. I love the hard rubber texture of them. Not too soft like Hogue, but not too rough like 40 grit sandpaper either, they're just right.

    Ahhh...thanks! I *thought* it looked sort of scalloped!
    I saw one yesterday that almost looked plaid. It was so busy at the store, I couldn't break away and ask the owner what it was or where it came from. It just was vertical and horizontal lines with almost like a skipped checkerboard pattern between light and dark steel that made it look plaid, and it was *just* the right amount of texture. A lot of friction, but not aggressively sharp... Wish I knew where it came from!
