I love your S&W and your GSG, those are my two new favorite pics in this thread :D

[EDIT]: And if you're ever in LaPorte County, I'd love to see your GSG in action, I've been wanting one for awhile now.

I have a few , but this one was Dad's

This is my favorite gun......I have the letter my dad wrote to my mother in April 1945 from "somewhere in Germany" in which he described making the grips from the side window of a downed airplane.

Yeah, that's a nice looking 1911 AND it's gotta' be a fun plinker. All that adds up to my having to get one for myself. :yesway:

Got it from a fellow INGO'er with a low 200 or so round count on it, was hoping to grab some ammo and shoot Wednesday, but forgot a doc appointment and had a surprise prescription (an expensive one) come up, so kind of in a holding pattern at the moment...

I hate it when life pops up and ruins plinking plans! :D The good thing is that the pistol will be there and ready when the finances settle.

I too am curious as to if you have any more pics of this 45. It looks really nice and as CandRFan said a great family heirloom!:D Just wondering is this a Colt, Remington Rand, Ithaca, or a Union Switch & Signal?

:dunno:When my 401(k) recoupes, I will buy 1/10th of the collection you have - if it ever recovers.
A small sampling of my original (Seattle) Detonics Combat Masters.

Of the the first 250 made, LN/99.5% condition (possibly unfired?)

Un-catalogued factory made custom gun for a Detonics executive, no slide engravings, no model marks. This gun is a cross between a MK V and a MK VI, so I guess its a MK V.V
