THAT is a Pistol Dynamics XO model. Bobbed, dawson rail, top strap work, fluted barrel, active reverse plug, hard chrome and the sweetest 3 3/4 lbs trigger you ever felt.

And best of all, it was my anniversary gift from the lovely and longsuffering wife D.
(it also took 26 months to get)

I had these built for me exactly 20 years ago to celebrate the 5th wedding anniversary to my wife. They were my gift to her. We're still married and she didn't shoot me so things must be going OK

This pair is serial number 001 and 002, the frames are Beryllium Copper, they are engraved lightly with a marriage blessing, and are absolute tack drivers! The larger gun is a MATCHMASTER while the smaller gun is an ENFORCER. (BTW, that is not rust in the slide serrations, its from the camera flash) Barrels and triggers are jeweled (engine turned) just for looks.

They made very few Beryllium Copper guns, not sure how many, but I suspect that there are maybe 50 or less. Some were all Beryllium Copper, some, like mine, were two tone.

It's nothing special - at least not yet - but it is a 1911 and it's mine.

I plan to custom it out a bit as funds allow, sort of make it mine so to speak.

No i've never had any problems with this pistol I mean it's a 1911 they are a workhorse. Since I've owned it i've shot about 40 rounds and never jammed once these pistols are good pistols for the price you pay you can't beat em.

..i guess i didnt hit post.. anyway. the stainless one is my new girl. ive been through a few handguns in the short time ive spent in adulthood and i gotta say there's nothing like a 1911. the parkerized one was my first, traded my XD45 for it on INGO :rockwoot: a decision i do not regret. But the lust continued, Pulp Fiction gave me some interested in 1911's in highschool but back then i wasnt really into handguns, i didnt know better and i went smith and wesson.. well go figure a month after my dad buys me my first handgun i watch Sin City and fall in love with the stainless 1911. its been 5 years and i did not come home from work today thinking i would get the gun of my dreams, but when my friend told me PSS had exactly what i wanted for $450..come on, i had to. :D
