well, I still need better backgrounds but here is my 10mm bobtail commander after I did a new upper on it and added a ribbed bull barrel. Waiting on a plunger tube to show up still

I got to hold this gun in my hands today and I can tell you it truly is a thing of beauty.

And with the XSE commander I bought a couple months ago.

Now with a Dan Wesson tactical ledge sight.

The worn out Taurus has been by my side for years. It has been very reliable for what it cost me. The newer and nicer Smith & Wesson was picked up this morning through this site. It promises to be reliable as well.

This Kimber TLE RL II was my first 1911, and began the sickness. From that moment I was sold on the platform and upgraded to a SA TRP that later went to SACS for some serious upgrades. For my next purchase I am somewhat torn between a Springfield Custom Carry with most of the features of the Professional (and a few additions), and a Wilson CQB Elite.Decisions, decisions...

Go with the Wilson. Many will see they are over priced. But they are very nice guns and with them comes a certain pride in ownership.

I keep hearing that they are phenomenal 1911s. I have never shot one but have always heard great things about their quality and customer service, which is one of the most important things to me. Gotta love a company that stands behind their products.
