    It was a very cool gun, issued to a Army Lt. shortly after D-day and carried across Europe for the remainder of the war. After the war he threw it in his backback brought it home and it set in his closet for 60+ years until I bought it.

    Nice looking guns. I would like to have a 1911, but .45 ammo is getting retarted. I know they have them in a 9mm, but would rather have something else in that caliber.
