Another ingo member and friend started beating on me about the Colt right when I posted it. I had it sold SPF and the gentle men had to back out. I was a bit disgruntled and put it back up. The beating continued and yesterday he shows up with a bag full of 1911's. 1 hour later the trading and arm wrestling was over and I now have 2 Kimbers.
The Colt was going anyway. I like Colts but not stuck with having to own them. I have had more nit-pick issues with Colts than my Springers.

Here is my custom built 1911. Not sure on all of the specs, bought it off a guy I used to work with. I love the way it shoots, trigger is great! It is a Double Star frame, but that is all I know about it, except for the fact that I love it!

My first 1911 and it is all Churchmouse's fault! I missed out on the SA RO that he had for sale and I haven't stopped thinking about it. Youtube videos only made it worse. Of course there is also Skulldaddy45, SERparacord and Jetgirl and all the other 1911 nuts out there are involved in this conspiracy as well. I have only had it in my possession for 2 hours and all I can think of is "I WANT MORE, I GOTTA HAVE MORE"

New addition. She needs a little time at the spa, exterior is a bit scratched up; but mechanically she is in very, very nice shape. I think this is going to be the 9x23 Carry Project! I'll have to do a new family photo tomorrow with all her siblings.

Someone (gunsmith may be too generous a term, although it's still better than I could have done) checkered the trigger with a file. Looks odd, actually feels pretty good.

Just threw some VZ grips on the Loaded. They are black cherry in color, might try the black/sand color next time
