About 15 years ago, MCPO wouldn't file charges on a shoplifting if the value was under $10. Don't know if the amount has increased any since then.

Yeah, it does. But you have to swap it out with the boner-causer thingy because the drone won't carry both at the same time.
Will the next model have both FLIR and boner? A Boner Drone for night ops would be a significant capability increase over the current Boner Drone.

First thing I noticed, first line in the article:

[/FONT]"shots were fired" -- like the gun fired it self.

"at an officer's car" -- sure, it was at the car, and not the officer.

Nice way to use framing to remove responsibility from the three "juveniles" who shot at the police.

You missed the part about the “car driving recklessly”. The **** that passes for journalism these days makes my head spin. Or maybe it was an autonomous car that went crazy.

You misread me. I didn't mean that someone intentionally got into trouble just to get transferred. I meant that when you are stuck in an assignment that you hate, your job performance is going to suffer, and sometimes that results in you getting into trouble and transferred. On the surface, the officer may not want to be transferred. But when you start freely telling citizens to go **** themselves when they **** you off, you really aren't enjoying your job anymore.

    Exhibit A.

The whole video is awesome, but skip to 3:30 for prima facie evidence if you want to. :):
