Levi Strauss CEO To Gun Owners: You don't need a gun to try on a pair of jeans.

Stopped buying Levi's when they stopped making them in the USA. I tried Diamond Gusset Jeans and now wear them. They certainly aren't cheap, but they are made here in the USA and they fit me how I like my jeans to fit. Here's a link to there store. https://www.gusset.com/jeans

      .270?

I have had a .270 for many years and have taken a slew of Antelope and Mule Deer. (Also one Whitetail). It shoots as far as I want to try to shoot. My farthest shot on a Muley was 326 paces. I shot with a 130gr pellet. I have just bought a Ruger RSI in .308 that I am dying to get out west and...

      What was your first Handgun?

My first handgun was 6in Colt Python. I got it 2 months after I got married in 76. The guy said make him an offer and I said how about a hundred - His answer was THAT MUCH!! I damn near broke mywrist getting the money out of my pocket. Spent the 2 weeks grocery money on it. My wife was a little...

      1911 SUGGESTIONS

Most of todays 1911 style pistols are pretty good. It boils down to what you personally like and how much you want to spend. I'm a Colt addict (just check out the Colt Forum to verify this) But I have a Kimber Pro CDP II - I really like it. It's light and carries well and shoots great. I also...

Have to admit the great 41 MAG. is dying

I picked up a Marlin 1894FG .41 mag just a couple of weeks ago. I haven't shot it yet, I had shoulder surgery and the Doc said it would a year to a year and half before it will completely heal. I missed deer season last year and this year isn't looking to good. I've got a buddy that may be...

can you buy more than one handgun a month in Indiana?

The problem would only arise if you went in and bought say half a dozen cheap concealable .22s or .25s at the same time. Then went back a week later and bought half a dozen more. But different types and or just a couple of high end items doesn't ring the alarm bells. (at least not as loud)

Deciding on my first 1911. Kimber 4" or 3"

I've got a Kimber Pro CDP and love it. No problems, fairly light to carry. I use Wilson 8rd mags. I like it because I have bigger hands and it has the full size grip. They also make it easier to control, but maybe a little harder to conceal. I carry IWB, so the barrels under my jeans. I can...

      .410 Recommendations

I've always liked the .410. - I saw a Marlin .410 lever action on Gun Broker the other day. I also ran into a .410 upper for an AR platform. It came with 10 rd mags. I thought an AR in .410 would be pretty neat, but I passed it up.

      3" pistols.

I have a Kimber Pro CDP, this has the 4" barrel, but I really like it and I've had no problems with it. I've heard alot of good reports on the Colt Defenders and plan on eventually getting one. The Colt New Agent is also very nice.

OK COLT GUYS-Need help on identification

You might want to go on the Coltforum.com and post your pictures and questions. There are a lot of knowledgable Colt collectors on there. I believe there are also some links to places to find the manf. date. Nice looking piece- you might have something there.

      My New Colt

You have to be careful with nickel finishes, some of the regular cleaners can lift the finish. I'm not sure about the Colt E-Nickel though.
