      Mark Souder set to resign

Yup, FWIW, I'm glad that it's at least with a semi-hot gal. My question is why couldn't it have Dan Burton instead?

      Indiana 4th District Primary

Attended the Tea Party forum in Danville this past Saturday for the 4th District Congressional candidates. At first blush, all these guys seem to be singing from the same hymnal … good conservative family men who support a return to a more constitutional, smaller, less-intrusive federal gov’t...

      Behney in Greencastle tonight

This is what I recall about Hostettler. Media hated him, so he can't be all bad! :D My only concern about him is he is a "Washington Insider", although less objectionable than lobbyist Coats. Attended a tea party forum hosting the 4th District congressional candidates this past weekend. For...

      Indiana 4th District Primary

Thanks for the links. Checked out Rokita's site ... lots of fluff, little real meat. Most of the other candidates seem to be quite up front where they stand on the issues. Met Hershman and his wife at the Hendricks County Friends of the NRA banquet last month. To be honest, he seemed a bit...

      Indiana 4th District Primary

Does anyone know who is running for the seat being vacated by Steve Buyer? Want to start doing my homework in advance of the May primary So far I know of only one candidate, Eric Wathen from Brownsburg, as I just received a flyer from him in the mail. Any info on the other candidates would be...

good post ... thanks for sharing on :ingo:.

      I need some pointers

Thanks for recognizing the attempted humor, but you make a great point. I am in a similar situation with my wife and your right ... being pushy is not the correct approach, particularly concerning a decision as important as to purchase/carry/use a handgun. I am working up to that myself. I...

      INDY 1500 TALES - 1/15,1/16,1/17 2010

Excuse me for trying to offer a constructive suggestions. I'm new around here and thought this was the place for open & friendly exchanges for info on all things firearms related. May have been mistaken. :wrongdoor: BTW ... this thread wasn't even started when I went to the show. Guess I...

      INDY 1500 TALES - 1/15,1/16,1/17 2010

Sorry ... it's just I do have a day job and can't cruise every thread looking for a possible post relating to the activities at the 1500. Not trying to start something here. It's just that I did looked at the Events thread thinking that this would be the place to find such info and there was...

      I need some pointers

How about pushing him down on the bed and telling him that all this gun talk is getting you hot and bothered and nothing turns you on more than a man packing heat! That'll get him motivated! ;)

      INDY 1500 TALES - 1/15,1/16,1/17 2010

Attended on Friday. Arrived an hour before open, got in line 20 minutes before open ... in the door in about 10~15 minutes once the line started moving. Picked up a couple of books. Noticed some guys hawking the same crap they had back in October. Interesting ... some folks are as nice as can...

      Fort Liberty in Avon

Have yet to make firearm purchase from FLF, but have only had positive experiences in the store. A buddy of mine purchased his Glock 19 there and Scott sold a BDA-380 for me on consignment. Just wish they'd expand their inventory as choices are somewhat limited compared to PSS and Guns & Ordnance.

      Most Disappointing Gun ever

Browning BDA-380. Shot one at an NRA Basic handgun class and loved it. Picked one up at auction and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it. Replaced it with a 9mm BHP and it has been bliss ever since.

      Guns and Ordnance

+1 on G&O. Great shop, clean, well-lit, decent selection, fair pricing and great customer service - happy to answer any/all questions. Were very nice to my wife as well. Worth the drive into the country.

What the Dems Know: Universal Voter Registration

Great Post MTC ... Glenn Beck couldn't have said it better! Voting is a privilege, not a right.

      Beech Grove Firearms

Know I'm new new around these parts, but I wasn't all that impressed. Stopped by after work this afternoon to check the place. Folks were friendly enough, but prices weren't particularly all that great IMO. Did have some very interesting Hi Standard .22 pistols, but that's about it. 9mm Ammo...
