      Funny VUPD tried to tell me the same thing. However when I spoke with them on the issue I Backed my argument with the IC and told them my lawyer would gladly settle the issue for us they decided to politely ask me to not bring any guns on campus and the issue would be dropped.

      In my school we had 2 to 3 police officers at the school everyday. I went to school in the suburbs of Indianapolis.       If its in a caliber that they also readily make rifles for(Lots of lever action rifles are chambered in rounds that are used in pistols) then you don't have an issue.

      I carry a 9mm though I'm not the biggest fan of it. I carry 147grain jhp. I feel comfortable with a little larger grain bullet. I don't want to have to empty a mag to stop the bg.
