I bought another lower, found a fixed A1 FDE stock :):. Bolt prices are skyrocketing!!! I need a BCG to slap this parts AR together; I may just trade it oh well.
I think I need to invest in another platform if the legislation bites us in the :ar15:
Ive been considering them lately. I know you have to pay attention when putting the barrel back on. There is some screw adjustment that my buddy forgot about and was getting terrible accuracy. His fault though :dunno:
Definitely go with a single stack pistol like the Kahr PM9, I like the CW9 cause its cheaper and has more grip for my hands. The newer Taurus 709 is not bad either. I carry a glock 27 daily but having a single stack frame is more concealable if thats what you are going for.
It's crazy cheap for a complete lower at 109 on gunbroker. I was considering it for my dpms upper to make a stripped down lightweight ar with plastic grips and just BIUS'. They say the lowers weigh almost exactly half as much as aluminum lowers.
They have terrible trigger pulls but it's a great piece of history, great price, and goes bang every time.
I've been thinking of getting one and the tokarevs that replaced them in Russia are cheap too.
I can vouch with him on using the dpms lower and trigger if you decided to use that lower. I built another vltor upper for it that is just 18" mk12 barrel and I get sub Moa results with my stock dpms oracle lower on factory ammo all day. I don't have the best pull but very consistent. I would...
I picked up a Mosin at Beech Grove Firearms a couple days ago and they had a Smith and Wesson AR/M4 style in 22LR. Looked like the real deal even with a full-size magazine. I think it was $440.
