Hit the range and shoot as often as you can. 9mm is going to be your cheapest to shoot. I prefer .45, for home defense you can't beat IMO a short tactical 12 gauge. Especially being awakened in the middle of the night! And stick with higher end guns you get what you pay for. As far as safety's...
I agree with LCSOSgt11 stay away from the 250 junk. I have been trying to figure out what SIG was thinking with this one. Maybe something to compete with HI-Point lol
I too have had the same issues for awhile now. About wanting a 1911, and will probably end up with a kimber in my collection at one point or another. But none will ever take the place of my H&K rock solid dependable ammo eating machine.
Yes, I think Kahr's customer service is by far the best I have seen. I had a magazine retention issue with a used CW9 called them up and they sent me out a new part no questions asked no cost to me. After that had no other problems with it.
Very nice I am new to this site and still trying to navigate through here. Thanks for the HK photos. How do you like the Cross breed for your 45c I carry mine in a comp-tac paddle right now. Looking for a good IWB
Sounds like the magazine catch call them. My Khar magazine catch was worn and they mailed me out a new one at no charge. Then sell your High-point and buy an HK and you wont ever have this problem again!
I LOVE MY Heckler & Koch 45 Compact SA/DA Highly recomended and well worth the money. Have never had a single hickup with it. It eats anything you feed it!!
