I HAD A HAMILTON COUNTY SHERIFF TAKE MY XD FROM MY GLOVE BOX. HE UNLOADED IT AND TOOK THE MAG AND THE LOOSE ROUND WITH HIM. HE DID NOT ASK ABOUT THE EXTRA MAGS I KEPT WITH ME.
I have a coated magnet I bought at the 1500, I like it. Have not been in a crash to see how well it will hold my gun. Hope I don't find out the hard way.
I built one out of 1/4 steel, all welded and very heavy. I have a lock built in and a welded handle thet I also us to secure it in the car. I have a cable and lock that is rapped sound the seat frame. I have looked at the factory ones but mine is ten times heavier.

I have a board that I put about 20 clay pigeons on and use them for handgun and rifle, you can get very far away and still tell if you hit one looking with the scope. They are cheap and you get the gratification of seeing them brake up.

I have owned a PM45 and now carry a PM40 the 40 was used and looks like it has had quite a few rounds down the pipe. I have put another 100 in it and love it, the trigger no problem just have to hold on tight. I think I may pick up a PM9 next. I hope you love it as much as I do.

I bought a used Kahr from then at the 1500 they knocked $50 off the price tag, everything went very smooth so I would use them again. I have never been to the store, I will have to check it out.
