      Hey guys, Im looking to trade my M1 carbine to a gentleman that owns the 1911 you see below. the date puts it right around 1913, but Im having a hard time confirming its authenticity. He says its never been refinished?? he's only asking $1500 so Im trying to find out if its real?? thanks guys!!

      What made you a "firearms enthusiast"

      I grew up with a ruger 10/22, it was my parents, so I never shot it much but I loved it. One day when I was 16 I thought "Hey, it would be really cool to have a rifle of my own!" I didn't know where to start, but I have always loved military history and eventually bought an SKS.
