So I stripped out 30 rounds of new soft tips out of the boxes. I emptied what was left in one of my 30 rounders and started topping off the mag... The last round wouldnt quite go in.
Maybe it was my magpul followers? (in metal GI mags)
So I got a second mag and emptied the first. Maybe it was a fluke?
Then about 5 rounds in I looked at the pile and saw a FMJ mixed in. I was actually trying to load 31 into the mag.
Yep. Its been one of those days.
On a related note, the MagLULAs are awesome and made the process a bit less frustrating to load/unload the mag quickly.
