Some fun shooting at the range yesterday!

That was one of the first things my wife said when I showed her. "That's illegal, you know."

Some fun shooting at the range yesterday!

I couldn't believe I made this shot! My friend and I were mainly there to shoot some clays but decided to walk over to the pistol range just for practice since we were already there. After burning through 20-30 rounds on paper, we decided to try something a little more difficult. We set up some...

Is the nickel the new penny?

Death to PenniesThis guy pretty effectively explains why the penny should be done away with. While I don't agree with him calling GB "a more civilized country," he does bring up the very valid idea of labeling items in stores with their price INCLUDING sales tax. I wish he had a video...

      Ann Coulter on mass shootings

I can't take anything this sad excuse for a human being says seriously.

      The NRA Press Conference

I do admit that most of the anti-gun fodder is coming from the left. It's also pretty alarming how much is coming from people who clearly just know nothing about guns except for what they hear on the news. The hive-mindedness of this gun ban movement is scary. As far as what I would do, I...

      The NRA Press Conference

No it isn't. I'm more liberal than conservative in most ways but that doesn't mean I advocate gun control or support anyone who would take away my natural and Constitutional right to firearms. I served this country so that future generations could enjoy the same rights I have been blessed with...

The Thick Hypocrisy of Politicians & Guns

Thanks for this article! It's a lot of material but wow is he spot on!

      Liberal =/= gun control advocate.

      The NRA Press Conference

I missed it live because I'm at work but just read the manuscript. The only part I didn't like was when he seemed to make the suggestion that video games and violent movies might be to blame. I feel like this is another way to place the blame on something other than the person responsible. I've...

Thank You, for voting for bho.....

There have been very few changes for me and the company I work for that I've seen. Slight changes to coverages and rates (nothing drastic). I'm not insured through my employer and am not being forced to buy their insurance. The biggest change in my family's insurance is an increased deductible.

I'm shooting from the bench to zero the scope.

      Help with length of pull

I have a Marlin 60 that I recently reacquired from my grandfather. I've had some fun sighting in the (very) old optic and just shooting it in general. It's a truly great gun. However, I've found that I can't shoot it comfortably from a bench for too long because my length of pull is just too...

      Your children are not yours

Those are public education dollars paying for those vouchers. So what's the difference between the state spending your money on public schools and the state spending your money to send kids to private school?

      Your children are not yours

Let's just agree to disagree. You think I'm wrong and I think you're wrong. Congrats to you that you've risen above the tyranny and oppression that is state education. Now stop trying to tell me how to educate my kids, you're starting to sound like the state or something.

      Your children are not yours

So send your kid to private school. The state, at the moment, will even pay for you to send your child to the private school of your choice. Or you could home school your kid/s. But not everyone can afford to home school. For example, my wife and I both have jobs that we cannot possibly afford...

I am so glad the election is over!

And then you realize that Romney too says that he would support an AWB. But only if it's what both sides want. Which is exactly what it would take for Obama as well considering the Republican majority in the house. Oh and "Obama phone" wouldn't go away either unless Romney could repeal our amend...

I am so glad the election is over!

My mind is having a hard time processing the stupidity if this comment. I don't see the difference between someone voting for Obama solely because he/she thinks Obama will give them free stuff and someone voting for Romney solely because he/she thinks Romney will protect their right to bear...
