On the ones I was checking on, there was no driving on the property, couldn't put in food plots and it was only during deer season. Not sure if we could go in earlier and scout.
Sometimes people offer leases on Craigslist. You can always check the net. All I can say is, get ready to take a hit on your wallet. I just checked into a few here in Indiana, and they averaged between 1-2k, and that was ONLY for deer season with no use rights.

I saw a recipe where they cut it and put butter in it to help with the dryness. That is my concern. I would hate to end up with jerky when it's all said & done.
I need to smoke a 12# venison roast this weekend, and am looking for some wisdom. I will be using an electric smoker, and have plenty of time. I've smoked the usual prime rib, ribs & pork butts, but never venison. Any advice anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

It is NOT illegal for a non ffl to send a firearm to an ffl. In or out of state. As long as the firearm belongs to the shipper. Just like the gun can be returned directly to the owner. Where the questions lie, is transferring ownership across state lines.
