I think D.H. has done a great job of brining up and answering some of the common questions and concerns we have from some of our customers at the range.
The bottom line is we all really want people to be safe and have a good time. Thats what we are there for.
I picked up my DW CBOB from KS&E. They ordered it for me after I put a deposit down. That was in '06. They were $818.00 back then (cash price).
Kind of ticked me off when I went to pick it up though. When I went to pay they asked me if I wanted any ammo or mags and I said "No, Im set...
I have a GLOCK 23 that I feel the same way about. Its the first gun I ever bought and I know sometime down the line if I sold it, I'd definetly regret getting rid of it.
I did sell one of my Dad's Berrettas after he passed away for my Mom a while back. A 92FS Elite for $375...dumb! I didnt...
I've been using the 180gr TCFPs in my GLOCK 40s with good results. They do lead a bit, but I've found that running a boresnake through 5 or 6 times every 50rds or so does a great job of keeping the barrel pretty clean.
I'll probably get some .380s, .45s and .357s next time I order from them.
The cold range rule has ALWAYS been a rule...but, unfortunatly, not always strictly enforced at times by some ROs. If we are going to start strictly enforcing this rule now we have to be consistant with everyone and we are asking all ECPR patrons to follow the cold carry mode of carry (mag...
Kirk, we will work on correcting our signage at Eagle Creek Pistol Range to help clear up any confusion for anyone else in the future, but thank you for your compliance. Here is a link to the ECPR "range rules" website: http://www.ecpr.4t.com/about.html

For rifle dies you will need to lubricate the cases before you can resize them. Also some of your .223 brass may have crimped in primers and will need to have that crimp reamed out before you can seat a new primer. Also you will probably benefit from a primer punch to pound out any military...
You can put in for a back order on primers/powder with some online companies. The wait may be a couple weeks to maybe a couple months, but you can definetly save some money and get exactly the components you want. Check with Graf and Sons or Powder Valley Inc.
A Lee hand loader for 100-200...
You gotta love Powder Valley... Last I checked, they still have Wolf LP in stock and appear to still be taking back orders on other Wolf primers as well as Winchester LP. ~$25/k (even with the haz-mat fee if you buy enough) sure beats the $50/k I've seen some (trying to) sell primers for...
Two... Loaded a .38 a bit too light. Disposable Heart was shooting my S&W model 66 and the bullet (berry's plated) got stuck in the barrel...right at the very end of it. Had to drill it to break it down enough to pull out.
I also (Im ashamed to admit) didnt charge (powder drop) a .45...
I also use the Lee set and I only use "range brass" for reloading .40 in my GLOCKs. I typically load "lighter" for target use, but when I load "hot" (155gr jhp at 1200fps +/- ~7fps out of my G23) I make sure to use once fired WW brass that looks in good shape. I dont use any corroded brass at...
You'll be "rollin' your own" before you know it!:rockwoot:
...a little at a time here and there and you'll have all you need.
Ahhhh, the Lee Classic Turret...I actually think I kind of miss it when Im gone...
The only factory ammo I have are .22lr, some XM193, and some JHPs for my handguns. I reload ALL of my target ammo but I also have plenty of components to reload "serious stuff" for the AR and handguns as well if needed.
I've also only used Lee products-a Classic Turret press. Its always worked great for me for about 3 years now. Lee is very reasonably priced when compared to competitors and I feel their components quality has been quite good.
You could always put in a back order to an online company for the...
Our hours will vary coming up for the summer. IMPD has training on the weekends.
per our Chief RO Steve on Eagle Creek Pistol Range Eagle Creek pistol range web site:
"We are not going to be open on the 5th.
Half days starting the 25-26th, 9am - 1pm."
First GLOCK was a G23, but I also was looking at the G27 then as well. I found the grip shape/length was a bit more difficult to conceal and not too comfortable at times (smart carry anyone...?).
Anyway, I chopped the grip on the G23 down to a G27 size and I found it worked great for carry...
