Here are my top 10
Paul Harrel is my number 1, and 2, and 3, and 4, and 5, and 6, and 7, and 8. Wonderful information, testing, and delivery. By far the best gun channel overall. All the Chuck Norris and Colt jokes about him are totally warranted.
MAC - great technical info, esp in terms of...
The breadbasket analogy goes back centuries to the time of the Russian Empire. Malorossiya (that's what Ukraine was called at the time) was the biggest grain and tobacco producer of the empire. Eastern Ukraine has very rich soil. Western, the part that's historically either belonged to Austria...
All in all, I think this conflict will last a long time and will prevent Ukraine from getting it's business in order. It's sad, really, such wealth of natural resources, shamelessly robbed from its people by its leaders since it first came into being in 1991. Could easily become one of the...
According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. You can look up the import/export tables. According to them, it's Russia and China who are the biggest buyers of Ukrainian arms. US imports so little, it doesn't even show up in the database. Though, would you, given the choice...
It's curious that Russia is the biggest importer (buyer) of Ukrainian arms. Makes one wonder, if this was war and invasion, as they claim, why would they be selling arms to the enemy?
No effect on me, but my better half is affected. They need to import some live animals from abroad (not going into details), and the permits to do that cannot be issued due to the shutdown. She's irate, but I'm just going as usual.
Thats because history is not taught in schools, and people ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it. I saw an article recently by some progressive socialist, stating that GULAG was a network of social rehabilitation resorts where the guests engaged in music and productive work opportunities...
Disgusting. Oh well, I've been using a safety razor for a decade now. 9 cents a blade, closer shave than any multi-blade-space-shaver from Gillette, and blades stay sharper for longer. Though my razor is a 1948 Gillette hahaha.
Man, I must live in some kind of alternative reality over here hahaha. My local gun stores are great, and my local outdoor range is great. Been going every weekend wince moving here four months ago and the only time I ran into range commandos pretending this is the jungles of Vietnam was when...
I'm going to deviate from the general line, and say I actually really like the two local stores I frequent. Ammo prices aren't the best, but gun prices often match those you can find online, and the staff at the stores are very helpful, courteous, and a very pleasant conversation. I've spend a...
I've read a study by CDC and one by the National Academy of Science (should have saved them), looking at violent crime in relation to gun ownership. Particularly the spike that followed handgun confiscation in the UK looked very convincing. Basically what they found was that in every country...
I just recently got into shooting black powder. Shooting a cap and ball revolver is just way too much fun! No wonder you can't have them in NYC. I sence a wave of muzzleloader purchases coming.
I got one to carry. Was looking for DA/SA/Decocker pistol and was torn between that and Bersa Thunder. Went with the XDE. Love the sights, the DA trigger, the way it handles. SA trigger is pretty mushy, but doesn't affect the accuracy. Really nice overall accuracy. Yeah, I'm happy with it.
