If you or someone else is getting mauled go ahead and shoot it. Some dogs bite because they are territorial, like Chows. Shoot whatever you want whenever you want. Don't let me stop you.

      Dog Attack, Carroll County

There's nothing wrong with saving someone from harm or death. It's when someone simply decides that when he gets bit it's time to break out the gun and shoot something.

I would most certainly have intervened, much to the detriment of the dogs. Simply because a dog bites me I'm not going to light it up. If it continues to do so then, yes. Fido is going to have a few new holes in himself. Don't fret about it, your thoughts and feeling are the furthest thing...

The USA is not the murder capital of the world!

Why does Detroit fall under the same gun control heading as these other cities?

I'll stand by my statement then.

POTUS plea to respectable gun owners to support "common sense" gun laws

This right here. Their names and faces are plastered on every form of media. They know they will get their fame and the whole world will know who they are. Don't release their name or put up their pictures.

Yeah, I was replying to that last night when I walked away from the computer and went to bed without finishing.

There is nothing wrong with your statistics. The only dubious part of the statistics you have shown is the pit bull label. So many dog bites/attacks are attributed to a pit bull. If a dog bites it must be a pit bull. If a dog attacks someone it's clearly a pit bull. What also needs to be...

      Dog Attack, Carroll County

The problem here is that there are several breeds considered "pit bulls." Among them are American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Bulldog, Staffordshire Bull Terrier

POTUS plea to respectable gun owners to support "common sense" gun laws

If you walked off the base with that M240B I'd be willing to bet you already broke a law or some part of the military code, in which case you're already going to get what's coming. Not that I would sell any of my guns but if I did and the buyer did something illegal with that gun it's not on...

POTUS plea to respectable gun owners to support "common sense" gun laws

Keeping track of who owns what is the first step in confiscation. If it's stolen from you then you report it as such. If you sell it you're no longer responsible.

POTUS plea to respectable gun owners to support "common sense" gun laws

Knowing who owns what gun does nothing to hamper any illegal gun trade. Criminals don't register their gun purchases. Nor do they submit to a background check before they steal a gun or buy one out of the trunk of a car.

      Things catching up with Hillary?

      It would actually be welcomed.

      Dog Attack, Carroll County

Many moons ago in high school I worked for a veterinarian, working with many different breeds of dog. Except for one vet's golden retriever the "pitbulls" (meaning dogs physically similar to what is called a pitbull) were the most docile. That's not to say they couldn't be aggressive, because...
