      Glock cordless drill

I wonder if something like this would work for that still? Center of gravity may be a bit off though....

      ISP capturing Cell Phone Data!!

Huh, I didn't realize that this would blow up like this. As the OP, thought this was news, not politics, so I posted this here. There are many other threads that tread the thin line between news and politics in the Break Room, so I saw no issue. However, if the mods see differetly and decide to...

      ISP capturing Cell Phone Data!!

I don't know about how text messages and the numbers dialed are handled, but I know that voice traffic over a cell network is sent encrypted. I would imagine the rest of the data stream would be scrambled.

      ISP capturing Cell Phone Data!!

I don't hate cops, and I don't have quite the oppressed attitude some folks on here have. But I don't think that it's in the state's best interest to spend almost $400,000 on a device that almost certainly is going against a few parts of the state and US constitution. I never consented to the...

      ISP capturing Cell Phone Data!!

IN State Police seems to be no better than the NSA... State Police Acknowledge Using Device to Mass Intercept Cell Phone Signals Apparently, they paid over $370,000 on a device that tricks devices up to a mile away to connect to it as if it were a cell tower, storing sent text messages and...

The Official Status Update Thread: Part 90 - HOME ALONe

It's either been here or work, but things seem to be slowing down a little now. Not looking forward to Christmas week and the week after.

The Official Status Update Thread: Part 90 - HOME ALONe

From the looks of the snow outside my window, it appears to be rain as well. Fine with me. Let it rain and melt the driveway off, and then I'll salt it later to keep it from freezing back up.

The Official Status Update Thread: Part 90 - HOME ALONe

Nothing wrong with having some of those around. I gotta have somebody to have problems and keep me working.

Need Help 2004 Ford F-150 5.4l no start

May try trading it in as is. I traded a 2004 Neon with a fully blown tranny (fluid looked like Pepto) and they gave me $1400 sight unseen. Car was only probably worth $2200. I heard they dropped a junkyard tranny in and auctioned it, made their money back. Wasn't worth my time to deal with it...

The Official Status Update Thread: Part 89 - Planes, Trains and Automobiles

My only experience with those have been on diesel vehicles where it's super easy to gel up the oil and fuel in the lines. In a lot of gas driven vehicles, the cold hits the battery the worst. If the battery is older, the effect is worse. That is an area you would probably need to focus the warmth.

Post an interesting fact about your ancestry

There are relatives on my mother's-mother's side, back in the late 1600's who came to the new world under servitude. Due to their step mother, who sold them off while their father was on a business trip in London. And yes, he stayed with the woman and approved of her action. That is the most...

      Bad news INGO'ers

Once, on a whim while camping, I wrapped a hot dog in bacon an cooked it over the fire. Not only did the fire start to smell like heavenly bacon, the hot dog was amazing. Found this only works over a fire though.

Is This a Good Use of Tax Payer Dollars?

This cost less than the F-16's we supplied to Egypt, or the blunder of an aircraft that is the F-35, or all of the aid money we send overseas, and so on, and so on. This is the government that spends $500 on a hammer or toilet seat. This is actually a pretty good use of our tax dollars.

The one food you always stock?

Thanks to this thread, I have been on PB kick this week, Jif Extra Crunchy on Home Pride Wheat. Going to have to start putting more of that back now.

      Pyongyang marathon, anyone going?

Plenty of airplane nerds make the trip to fly on the vintage Russian metal they use. I've read some of their trip reports, and they acknowledge that they seem pandered to. The reports from the folks that go to Iran are ironically much better. Some of the latest reports seem to confirm that the...

I hate 2AM phone calls! This crap makes me mad.

This is why I check every single thing I use my cards in for skimmers. They're easy enough to put on ATM's, gas pumps and the like. And it's also why I like the system Chili's has to pay right at the table. It's stupid easy to build a card skimmer, which is why this is so prevalent.

      Winter Hobbies

I've never touched resin either. Going to stick with planes and cars for a while before I start hitting boats.
