Plenty of airplane nerds make the trip to fly on the vintage Russian metal they use. I've read some of their trip reports, and they acknowledge that they seem pandered to. The reports from the folks that go to Iran are ironically much better. Some of the latest reports seem to confirm that the "death to America" rants are significantly toned down.

I think everyone should go. Could you imagine 100k foreign runners? Haha. Their control of outside influences has a hairline crack in it. Sure they are putting on a show with lots of "minders" but the more outsiders enter the country, the less hold the Dear Leader will have. It is inevitable.
