If you can find a used Ruger Mark 2 that would be an excellent pistol. I've had mine for years and it is fun and I've only had feeding problems with thunderbolts.
August 15th starts squirrel season. Woods look a lot better than last year. Gonna have to get my .22 out and do a little shooting.Still have plenty ammo, so I didn't have to buy during the panic. It will be good to get out in the woods again, just have to be prepared for biting things. Good luck...
!4 weeks and still not camping at the mailbox. Old style fingerprints and misdemeanor in 1982. Bought a new S&W 638 for c/c on the 3rd so I guess I need to keep being patient.
Congrats to all the people that received theirs.
Everyone else, hang in there.
Once again, another good experience at Dave's. I've been looking for a s&w 638 and after checking out the other gunshops in the area, I decided to make a stop at Dave's.Sure enough, he had one in the case! Better price and I didn't have to order it or settle for a 637. Fast, friendly and a great...
624 recall
Got the shipping label. Since I don't have the original box, can I just box up the plastic pistol case I keep it in or do I need to get a box for the the gun? I appereciate every ones input on this.
Called today and my name wasn't even on their list for shipping labels. Another 7-10 days.Hope this isn't normal for S&W as I have a 638 on my buy list whenever I get my ltch. 11 weeks and holding.

My 624 has a recall for a bad cylinder. I received this when my father passed away in 1987. Been looking at the recall issue for awhile and finally emailed S&W and sure enough, it is on the recall list. I am going to call them Tuesday and see what my options are. This is more of an heirloom than...
