      A remington silicone cloth will get the dirt off just fine and not damage the plastic. I would avoid soap and water due to the metal parts inside most plastic frames.

      Glock Magazine Problems?

      I have never had a problem with my factory G17 mags. I would disassemble your mags, clean them and check the springs. For all we know, your springs could be the culprit and just be plain bad from the factory. Wolff sells good replacement springs: Springs for GLOCK Semi-Auto Pistols

      best 1911 for the money????

      Dan Wesson hands down. They use mostly the right parts, and they seem to be put together well. Other than buying a > $2k pistol, I think a Dan Wesson is a far better choice than a Kimber or Springfield Loaded. I haven't had any experience with the newer Colts, so I can't comment on their quality.

      "Must have" mods for a Glock?

      1. A Vicker's tactical slide stop and extended magazine release 2. Night sights 3. Some of grip stippling or texture job to improve the grip on the plastic (especially if it's a gen 3 glock). I would keep the trigger and barrel stock.
