      M&P or Xdm

      I love my .40 XD. It is very accurate and comfortable. Based on this thread, I may get a M&P as well. Both sound pretty, pretty, good.

      Thinking about making my GLOCK into a carry gun

      Worst case is don't put one in the chamber. This only takes a split second if you practice at the range. I always thought that I would have time during the "thinking stage" of self defense to make this happen quickly.

      Dumb A** attack today

      I am always nervous that I will do this exact same thing. My biggest concern is putting a 3.5" shell in my 3" 12ga. mag gun. I should buy brands of a different color so it doesn't happen to me.

      Message for Atterbury Customers

      I had 2 bad experiences there too. I never got yelled at myself but the place lacks any sense of customer service. My 16 year old son even asked why they acted like they didn't want us there. Too bad, the facility is top notch.

      Poor experience with Atterbury shooting complex

      I went to Atterbury a few times when I first moved to Indiana., before I knew better. Now that I belong to a private gun club I would never go back. They run the place like we owe tem something. Aren't my tax dollars paying their salary? How about just a little customer service.

      I agree with everyone else. Buy one and skip the build plan. My Romanian has trigger slap which can be fixed but watch for this it's a hassle.

      I bought a shotgun from Gander Mountain recently. Never again. I will pay a few extra bucks the next time to buy from a local gun dealer. Worst customer service ever. I've had the same type of service at Dicks.
