      She Wore Her Big Girl Pants That Day!

      That's great. Had my 12 year old son chew me out a couple of weeks ago when I accidentally flagged him with the pistol I was cleaning. It was mostly disassembled for cleaning and couldn't have fired, but I was happy he was paying attention to such things.

      I saw in another thread that they're looking at January 2nd now. The wife and I drove by this past weekend and I think that's maybe a bit optimistic, it looked like they were still putting up drywall.

      I made the mistake of buying my wife a revolver for her first gun. We're in the market for a replacement...she's shooting everything she can get her hands on. If we'd done that at the beginning, we could have foregone the expense of the revolver. Lesson learned.

      A member of my ex's family had this happen, kid fell off a chair and got a concussion. They took him to the hospital and child services were called, who placed their other child with grandparents. It was all worked out within a day...they didn't hurt the kid, he just fell, but there had to be...
