      Good post and advice. I'm going thru an itch to get a new handgun and always tell myself I should go, rent at a range, and then decide but I've caught myself in several stores lately and get darn close to doing paperwork for something that looks cool and feels ok in my hand without testing it...

      Very cool and impressive and maybe I'll have to consider a Glock for my next purchase if it works that well in salt water. I would much prefer to do this than deep sea fishing.

      Definitely lucky since all three looked to be carrying and wish she got them all. That is a crazy camera setup for a house and she definitely needs it. Makes me think about how I would react in a similar situation and whether I would go for the handgun or shotgun by my bed.

      Don't leave your weapon in your car

      Crap article. A few anecdotes about guns stolen from cars, but zero hard stats on the number of reported gun theft from cars; just a vague stat of a "40% increase" in car thefts. 40% of what?! Keeping your stuff out of site, not parking in crap areas, and following common sense helps immensely.
