Thanks for the input. I've had my eye on PSA for awhile, but I really like the aesthetics of the Eagle Lite kits. The prices are good on both sites so I may get something from both and swap back and forth or buy another lower.
I am currently sourcing parts for my first AR build and came across this website with rifle kits from Eagle Lite Inc. I searched the forum and didn't find much of anything on this website or rifle brand so does anyone have any experience or thoughts? A couple of the parts say "made in the...
Been patted down the 5 or 6 times I've been. I'm not sure if it is event-specific, though. You could always carry in a shoulder rig under your shirt...
Love how the Indy Star link doesn't denote race or anything except clothing and height. I'm sure they won't get anything with jeans, hoodie, and an average male height range. I guess they don't want to stereotype...
Because I have two young kids and it would kill me if something happened to them that I could have prevented but wasn't prepared to do so. Crime seems to be spreading to even the best parts of a town and better safe than sorry. As I write this I just remembered that I left my EDC at my parents...
Love the brown cerakote. I'm getting ready to do my first build once the INGO lowers come in. I've seen the firing pin sold separately on various websites, but is this normally included with the BCG or in the lower parts kit?
And I always talk trash about Chicago but I don't even see them on the list. I guess their massive population is balancing out the south and west side issues.
Definitely lucky since it sounds like it was two guns on one. Surprised the liberal government of Illinois hasn't raised a stink and bet this would be a bigger issue if it wasn't the south side. Hopefully the cops thanked the guy for saving them time in working future crime...
I moved to Zionsville about 7 months ago and rarely consider carrying when out and about in the immediate area but Michigan south of 465 and the surrounding area seems to be a bit sketchy. I am definitely reconsidering how often I carry now and how I leave doors unlocked during the day and the...
Good post and advice. I'm going thru an itch to get a new handgun and always tell myself I should go, rent at a range, and then decide but I've caught myself in several stores lately and get darn close to doing paperwork for something that looks cool and feels ok in my hand without testing it...
Hopefully Walmart doesn't fire the guy as I'm sure many employers would. Definitely an unfortunate situation but at least he was prepared and had his wits about him to react appropriately.
Very cool and impressive and maybe I'll have to consider a Glock for my next purchase if it works that well in salt water. I would much prefer to do this than deep sea fishing.
Definitely lucky since all three looked to be carrying and wish she got them all. That is a crazy camera setup for a house and she definitely needs it. Makes me think about how I would react in a similar situation and whether I would go for the handgun or shotgun by my bed.
Crap article. A few anecdotes about guns stolen from cars, but zero hard stats on the number of reported gun theft from cars; just a vague stat of a "40% increase" in car thefts. 40% of what?! Keeping your stuff out of site, not parking in crap areas, and following common sense helps immensely.
