No offense to any of the mechanical engineers but I wouldn't let most of the touch my guns let alone disassemble them. Most can draw it/assemble on a computer ,but don't know which end of a hammer to hold. Not all, just the ones they hire at my work.
If ran enough passes very good finishes (near mirror) with a Ram EDM. If you were to attempt I would suggest reaming the minor diameter of the bore, & using the EDM for the rifling only.
Hopefully their customer service has gotten better. Every time I've been there, the guys behind the counter were arrogant, borderline rude. If that has changed I may go back.
