      I like to smell good.

Love a guy that smells good. Roomy has about 10 different bottles of cologne, and his constant smell-goodness has rubbed off onto my husband, who now owns 4 bottles of his own! I'm not complaining! So very yummy.

      gun storage

I just make sure to clean it well, spray the moving parts and inside well, spray and wipe the outside down, then put it away without letting my hands get on the metal. No salt on the metal means a much lower potential for rust. Never had a problem.

creepy truck outside my house 0525

Good thing you were vigilant! My place is on a raised foundation, so I tend to see any activity going on in the neighbourhood, and this worst is always vehicles that like to just stop and sit on the road at the corner of our yard. I don't know why, but they will just randomly do it. I figure...

      Weekend away to indy???

The Children's Museum is NOT gun friendly, and the Zoo is not entirely friendly. They will not allow you to carry into the Zoo as one person attempted to do several years ago, and it created too much of a distraction/disturbance with most of the "Mommies" there. The Indianapolis Museum of Art...

      Problems with Evansville PD

What a fiasco they put you through! I applied for mine non-L1 in October and am still waiting. I hold a dual Canada/US citizenship, having gotten my US in 2006. I'm really hoping it doesn't hold up the process further. Hope everything else goes through smoothly for you. Ridiculous. Zionsville...

BE ON THE LOOKOUT IN HENDRICKS COUNTY!

Glad to hear they caught the jerks. I'm near the very north end of 1050 that is commonly used as a through between Zionsville and Brownsburg. I had my eye out. Sorry you didn't get the bulk of your things back, though :( Too bad you didn't call the garbage company because you may have been...

      remora holsters

My holster showed up today. I plan to carry 4:00. So far, I'm really impressed, and the customer service that I got from Alan was superb!

      On campus housing?

That's rather funny considering two of the major Universities in the state had trapshooting teams. I'm not sure if Purdue still does or not, but I shot with them for a stint about 9 years ago. And they all kept their guns on campus. Interesting. Glad you didn't get more than a verbal warning...

12 gauge or 20 gauge shotgun

12 Gauge should be perfectly fine for you. Get a good recoil pad, make sure that you're holding the gun tightly into your shoulder, and it shouldn't be too bad. I've been trapshooting with a 12g since I was 13 or so.

      Impromptu Meet-up

My Mum will be here, or else I'd go. It does remind me of the last time these idiots were rallying heavily back in 2000-ish when Rosie was their primary activist. My Dad, brother, and I were all out at the Indiana Gun Club when that awful orange haired reporter from Fox News showed up there...

Schools and definition of too cold - REALLY?

Heck, growing up in Calgary, it wasn't unusual for temperatures to hit -40 Celsius most days during the winter, and they never cancelled recess, let alone school. Either your parents took you, or you walked because a bus system was almost unheard of. The kids always used the ridiculous...

      Worst gun you ever bought!

My Skyy CPX-1 9mm. Inaccurate, and the position of the safety will make someone with larger hands throw it into safe mode after each round. Don't care for the trigger on it either. We've kept it simply because it still has the old name, and will probably be a collectors thing.

      Speaking Any Foreign Languages?

Can't help ya with the Cherokee, unfortunately. French is my second language, however, as I'm Canadian.

Every one of my cars is a stick shift. Started on automatic, @ 18 bought a 6 speed SVT Focus and never looked back.

      Shooting Clay for Dummies?

#1 mistake that beginners (and even some of us seasoned clay shooters) make is lifting your head off the stock. If you're lifting your head off the stock, you're not going to shoot where you're looking, so make sure that that cheek is plastered onto the damned thing. It's really easy to do...

      Gun safe recomendations

+5 for Johnson Safe. He is based out of Zionsville/Whitestown and is super easy to deal with. Hubby went to school with his kids. We bought a huge safe from him about 5 years ago. $1400. It's 900 lbs and rated to 2700 degrees on burn temps. It's been a quality piece and he was great to deal with.

      Walmart not restocking ammo!!

Wal-Mart in Brownsburg got 4 boxes of 9mm Remington in yesterday. Hubby grabbed one, and there were already three other people there to take the rest.

      Current LTCH Wait

Applied 10/26/2012 in Zionsville (Boone County) Still waiting... ISP stated 2 weeks ago it would more than likely be the middle of February. Clean record except for being Naturalised, so hopefully it's ok.

anyone have an M&P nine in stock?

Roomy bought one @ Premier Arms in Brownsburg about two weeks ago. You might inquire with them.
