Thanks for the info. I have actually been looking at some of the turret style presses and they apprear to be a pretty attractive option. Do you know if Lee offers those in the Breech Lock set up.
There are many different mags available made in many different countries. Some of them fit different in different variants of AK's. I have 4 different AK's one of them being a WASR. It doesnt like Chinese mags but all of the other ones work great. Congrats on the purchase of your AK. I love...
Noticed it wasnt mentioned earlier but you do need to remove the top cover and bolt carier/ gas piston assembly first before you can remove the upper hand guard.
I have a German G1 kit built on an Imbel receiver. I realy just want the mag to have it and they appear to be verry hard to find. Passed on them for $60 a piece at knob creek a couple years ago and wish now that I didnt.
Done a bunch of ROMY's but used the original springs that the parts kits came with and modified them. They are a lot easier to use and a lot more cost effective than the 1 piece sheet metal piece I think that you are talking about.
It does move freely. It doesnt feel like my thumb comes in contact. Maybe ill try a bench. I have probably shot a dozen different 1911's over the years and have never had an occurance like this.
Need to refinish an FAL rifle and and AR upper. I'd like to see and hear what has worked for other members and or who has worked for other members. Thanks for your time.
This is a Para Ordnance 1911 style 45 with a compensated barrel. Some times when fired the slide locks back like the mag is empty. I have tried several other mags. One thing I noticed is that when the slide is locked back that you must release the slide stop to release the slide unlike my Colt...
Many people in the past bought SKS's as the poor mans alternative to the AK rifle. I am sure that I am not the only one who is guilty of this. Things are different now you cant pick up SK's for under $100. That price gap has deffinately become more narrow in the past 5-10 years. I didnt have a...
Thanks for all of the input from everyone who posted. Both of my brothers bought Lee kits. one of them just got his a year ago and the other has been using his since 2002. What does the RCB have over the Lee? I would love to have a Dillon but is the extra money really justified in the end? I am...
Intersted in getting into reloading and would love for anyone who is willing to sound off and tell me there thoughts on equipment selection. I want to learn from any mistakes made. Are the kits the best deal or are they just filling a box up with inferior stuff and a descent press.
