Walther P-22 gets my vote for overall. Threaded barrel, compact, reasonably accurate. I also have a Beretta Tomcat, Ruger Single Six convertable, and a 50s Ruger Mk 1. All work well and I love them. Beretta is my favorite one to carry.
Spend the extra money and buy a PTR 91. Most of the Cetme rifles manufactured on parts kits in the US are sub par when it comes to overall quality. That has been my experience with the .308 variations anyway.
I was actually looking for more the back pack variety of survival rifles but now that we started:
Lost in the Woods?? Back Pack Gun
Lost in the Ghetto?? Pistol/ Revolver
You against the world?? Nothing Belt Fed
Lets hear it.
I recommend a dedicated .22 upper or rifle. If you want top end performance the Spikes Tactical dedicated upper is the way to go you can order it with the Walther/Lothar match barrel. The only problem is the price on this upper is almost $1,000 now. They have really shot up since I got mine a...
It's a must have for any collection. Most people could blow off going out to eat for 2 weekends and buy one of these. I started with an M-38 and then added a 44 and then 2 91-30s. We have consistently hit milk jugs with these at 200 yards with open sights and Milsurp ammo. If you haven't seen...
STAG M-4 Rifle Kit Less Stripped Lower $559 ship included last chance to get order in - AR15.COM
Here is a link to a great deal for a package that provides everything except the stripped lower. Only plastic lower that I have any experience with is the Smith M&P 15-22. I would suggest aluminum...
Thinking of purchasing this can to use with 3 different AR-15s a .22LR Spikes upper and a couple of 10/22s and a Walther P-22. Are any of you using this can for double duty with .223 and .22 LR. Does anyone have any clever ways to clean the lead deposits from the inside of the can? Is there...
Amen! This is true for so many things. I love to get good deals on things like the next guy. As a collector and shooter when people I know ask me if I will buy there guns because they need money I tell them and show them what they are worth. I tell them then how much they are worth to me...
I have a flat top set up with a Burris Full Field II 3-9 power and it is great for target shooting and it makes the ground hogs dance. I have plans of an upgrade to Night Force soon. If you can justify dropping over a grand on some glass I would highly recomend looking at there line. If you are...
Glock 19 and the HK USP compact 9 would be my two suggestions. Both are excellent CCW pieces. The Glock is much more affordable and the mags are a lot cheaper. Good luck!
I appreciate your insight on my problem. It is a standard slide stop so I am thinking that the ammo bumping it when cycling is sounding like a logical answer. Have you seen this problem with the Para line before? Any suggestions on accent parts for my totally stock 1991A1. Looking to do some...
I have had 2 of them and still have 1. I acquired both of them in package deals and havent shot either of them as they were new in box and I didnt intend on keeping them. They seem to feel good in the hand and the "C" model deffinately gets some points for its ability to take up little space...
