I was told to ride "like everyone is out to kill you" so to speak. Assume everyone is going to pull out in front of you, so have an out if they do. VERY defensive driving skills needed.
Like I said before, any bike within reason is an ok starter bike. I GENERALLY tell everyone a 600cc...
FOR SURE get into a MSF course with Abate. Best money you can spend if you are NEW or rusty and want to ride.
My wife is under 5' tall and she started out on a 600 (sportbike). It's all in how you respect the bike. I would never personally get a 250 only due to the fact they get old (ie...
Looks like I learned something new today....and some usefull info for when I go to florida later this year!
I guess the site I was on did not specify correctly, it looked only red and said NO to anything from Indiana basically.
Friend is taking a trip this weekend to Florida with his g/f. He has a valid LTCH in Indiana and was asking me some questions. It looks like he is good to go until he hits Florida, but at that point he would no longer be valid.
So, during the trip, before reaching the state line, what is...
Getting fined hurts temp, getting PHYSICALLY hurt might make them stop using their head as the leading end. I could see a reduction in padding make them have better form...
Might be down depending on time / date / WEATHER. Might even have 3-4 bikers w/ guns along too. For some reason all my friends own / carry guns and ride motorcycles.....hmmmmmm

Even modded ones I was only seeing them post numbers in the low 12's ($$$$$$$). So yea no way they were running that fast. Top speed on one from the factory is like 118 mph.
Relax....I was just giving you crap. I ride a 1000cc sportbike, so not too much else is considered fast to me. besides the hayabusa / ZX-14 bikes or bikes with a ton of add-ons.
My def of fast and Skulldaddy's def of fast must be WAY different. A 998cc (100 hp) motor on a 1000 lb (dry weight) machine is not my idea of fast. But it is still better than any Camry or Neon out there!
While they can look neat, I have heard they are way underpowered for their size and again it does not LEAN into the corners. It's basically a snowmobile with tires or a reverse trike. But honestly if I ever couldnt hold up 2-wheels, I would give in and get a trike or a CanAm just to get in the...
