      ICORE at NPCCC

Hey Deuce - Match went really well. Didn't need a sundial or hourglass to time my runs. Had a complete meltdown in stage two. I had good hits though. Overall the the wheelgunners had a great match. Three field courses and two classifiers. I'll have to get with the MD about the next match...

      Lee Progressives and Primer Issues....?

+1 to the LNL AP. I've had a Pro 1000. Sold it to some guy in Canada. It was the priming system and the spent primer disposal. It was a struggle to reload more than 200 rounds. A friend has one and makes really good ammo with it. He likes to tinker with stuff though. My other press is a...

      New .22lr pistol (what one)

My Ruger MKll is really nice. The 22/45 lll I have is not as nice. Trigger is not the best. My MKll trigger is crisp and has little take up right out of the box. I bought it about 22 years ago. Only work on this pistol was to change the grip panels to a Houge thumbrest style. Other than...

catching primers on Lee turret press

This problem was one of the top 3 reasons why I replaced mine with the classic turret press. Primer drops thru the ram and a plastic tube right into my trashcan. I did have an arrangement similar to sgreen. Only his is much nicer.

      .40 S&W recipes

PP OAL is all over the place. Most manuals I've seen do list 1.125. I use 1.130 for my Para 16-40. I've tried longer and 1.125. This OAL feeds the best for me. I adjusted the powder to meet USPSA Major PF. I wanted the most reliable feeding and adjust the powder to match without...

      NPCCC USPSA April 1

Rain stopped around 0800 CST. Nice weather after that. Pulled the bags off the targets, replaced a few, and had a really good Classifier Match. It was a busy day but well worth it.
