      I haven't been to any gun stores since the panic but on the news pages things are starting to get more quiet. Anything about the AWB is no longer headlines and are getting pushed farther down on the news pages. Fox News and Drudge are not focusing on the AWB anymore, just the side articles...

      I figured as much with the responses above. It is just frustrating having to wait because I want to make sure I have the necessary supplies if there is an AWB. I had a nice shopping list of guns and accessories that I drew up before the incident on Friday that I wanted to purchase in January...

      I put a Sightmark red dot on my Mossberg 500 and it works great. I was hitting the target at 25 yards with slugs and the buck was right on too.       It was the 10/22 Takedown model that I bought for $325 at Dick's. I love the takedown model because it comes with a great backpack to keep it in.

      I got mine at Dick's in Plainfield a couple of weeks ago. It was priced at $350 but the sale had it for $325. I didn't feel like looking anywhere else and that was the only one they had in stock at that time.

      What to take to Atterbury?

      Someone correct me if I am wrong but when I went up there to shoot trap, I only could make out 2 trap stations and a 1 skeet station. I only shot one round of trap so I didn't stick around long to investigate that whole area so I didn't see anywhere you could post paper targets for shotgun...
