Funny thing is, other than the LEOs I know all the people I know that have ARs use them as sporting rifles. Not for "harm and death on big scales"..another thing, how many millions of civilians own these "assault type weapons" and DON'T GO ON SHOOTING SPREES. Maybe because they are RESPONSIBLE...
I used 1200 grit wet sand paper on a very flat surface on my 10/22 trigger and hammer. Took my time and didn't go too crazy with it. It made a world of difference. Especially on the older one. Tested with no mishaps.

10/22 Scrapped the junk factory bolt for a Tactical Innovations milled bolt and stainless firing pin with hardened extractor. Replaced the recoil spring and guide rod as well. Polished the receiver, the hammer, sear and disconnector.
